I don't know...
I'm not sure why I've had so little to say lately, and the update I made last week was kind of a "mean" update. But I was kind of in a mean mood...for no reason, really. This isn't going to be long. I really just wanted to mention that I can't handle the overwhelming amount of patriotic SHIT that has surrounded September 11 for the past 5 years. Yes, it sucked. Yes, I feel bad that all those people died a horrible death. But, I'm not going to forget about it. And all the messages reminding us to "never forget" really get on my nerves, and they almost become offensive for me, as if I'm horrible and insensitive enough to forget about something awful that happened. Country music stations are the WORST (in general, and in respect to this 9-11 plethora of patriotism). The only reason I know this is because my mom listens to country in her car, and we took her car to the grocery store today. Any song that could possibly have anything to do with how awesome America is (with the exception of "America, FUCK YEAH!" from Team America) was on today. It made me want to throw up, and we all know how much I hate throwing up. But, regardless, that's all I have to say for now. I'll try to write more soon. I really will. I just didn't think anyone would want to hear a repeat of the depression I felt upon my return from Tucson and visiting Jason over 4th of July weekend...something pretty similar happened over Labor Day weekend and last week. I'm back to normal now. I'll post some pictures of Colossal Cave (affectionately known as "Ghetto Cave") when I get around to putting them on my computer.

Hi Sven! Maybe some marching band would cheer you up? Norwin's show is this Saturday I'll be there with my kids. Or, DCI is being televised tomorrow on ESPN-2 at like 2pm - maybe you could tape it. How's your puppy?

This "Katie" is right. DCI has been on lately. And I agree- patriotic country songs suck ass. That being said, Stevie Nicks wrote a song about 9/11 called "Illume" which was on Fleetwood Mac's last album. It was done right though, as in you wwouldn't know it was about 9/11 until you break down symbolism. You should check it out. I love her, though I suspect if I met her in person I would be like, "Dude. You're f---ed up."
